Hadas Carmi

Hadas Carmi was born in Tel-Aviv and her musical education began at the age of 10, under the instruction of her late father, violinist Ofer Carmi.

From an early age, Hadas stood out, excelling both as a singer and as a composer.

At the age of 11 she started composing music for poems by Rachel the Poetess (Bluwstein,) as well as for her own lyrics.

In pursuit of her classical singing education, she earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and Dance and went on to earn her GPD (Graduate Performance Diploma) from the University of Hartford’s Hartt School of music.

In the year 2000 Hadas was awarded a "Most Distinguished and Talented Artist" honorary mention, as a composer, by the Italian IBLA Grand Prize. Alongside her career as a composer she is also an accomplished Soprano, Vocal Pedagogue, and Musical Director.

Her chamber music is performed in Israel, the United States, and England.

On 2019 she released the album MOMENTS, miniatures for flute and bassoon.
